PARENTS ARE THE BEST TEACHERS
Trần Tuấn Kiệt 12C2
Up to now, I have been taught by many teachers. Each of them has their own way to educate and chasten us. If I am asked who the best teachers were, I’ll tell at heart that they are our parents. And our parents, of course, have different ways to bring us up. This is not totally right with someone but in my opinion, no mentor can substitute for this position.
To begin with, teachers are the ones whose jobs are teaching in schools or universities. But the definition is just half way of the whole concept and yet cannot fully explain the true meaning of the word ‘‘teacher’’, especially our parents. Because they are capable of doing many and many more things.
First of all, parents are the best teachers who taught us the first lessons when we were children. Concretely, when we were babies, we crawled ourselves and our parents helped us stand up and toddle around while holding our hands tightly, seeming never let go. Moreover, they did constantly communicate with us by singing, facial movement, waving hands or just simply the conventional way: speaking or so. The lessons seem easy but not really. Our parents are the only ones who can handle the job.
Secondly, our parents also teach us many things in our lives, help us get through our problems, from the deepest to the most difficult one. Because they are the closest to us. Undeniably, they understand their children than anyone else. In addition, parents have a lots of experiences and have been through variegated difficulties as well as obstacles in their lives. That’s why they are the best counselors of their beloved children. They can help us distinguish the right from the wrong, the good from the bad and willingly lend us helping hands anytime. For examples, if you have trouble choosing a high school after graduate from secondary school, you’d best consult with your parents and they will give you some best advice.
Last but not least. the most important thing that differentiates our parents from our teachers is probably their love to their kids. This endless love creates great devotion and incredible patience that could never be acquired by any teacher irregardless of their salaries.
In conclusion, our parents have formed the very first and fundamental building blocks of our lives. They are truly the best teachers that we are lucky enough to be taught by. Their teaching can never be compensated and surpassed by anything in this world. Just as an old cliché has it: ‘‘ There are wonders everywhere, that’s why God creates Mothers and Fathers’’
PARENTS ARE THE BEST TEACHERS

In our lives, we may have had many teachers but no many of us know that teachers from whom we learn very much are our parents. Our parents are not only the people who bring us up but also the teachers, the best teachers.
When we were born, we did not know anything about this world, we could not do any thing except crawling and crying. Considerately and patiently, our parents taught us how to walk, how to talk, how to say “thanks”, they were simple but important things. Therefore, our parents began to be our teachers when we were very little.
When we grow up, our parents send us to school and have us taught by teachers. However, they are still our teachers. After school, they not only help us with our assignment but also teach us how to treat friends and others, how to please our grandparents and other significant things. When we become more mature, our parents begin teaching us how to become a good citizen.
Moral lessons we get from our parents are very invaluable. They contribute to forming our sense of morality which is the base of good citizenship. At school, we also have civic education classes, but what we are taught are absolute theory, it is very difficult to understand and put into practice. At home, our parents have much time with us, know our bad habits, our parents point out what we should do and what we should not do to wear us off those bad habits. This way of moral education is more effective. When we are about to begin a self-made life, our parents help us orient our future, teach us to live with striving, this is precious luggage we take along all our lives.
Our parents are really the best teachers. And in my opinion, we would not do anything without our parents, great teachers. Therefore, we must respect them, must be thankful for what they have done for us and must take care of them when our life is still being.

I agree that parents are the best teachers. When we were young, they taught us how to say, how to sit, how to step, etc. When they hugged us tightly and gave us some sweet kisses, they taught us about love. They also taught us when to say 'Sorry' or 'Thank you'. We learned about good behavior and how to be a lovely child. Sometimes thay shout at us and make us cry loudly. But it will only be for our betterment. They always stand by us and soften our pains. We will feel a thousand times better. They teach us how to overcome difficulty and never give up when skies are darkest. When we grow up, they help us choose a true friend or give a great deal of advise to us when we have a boyfriend /girlfriend. We know that they are our best friends, who always stand back and encourage us anytime.
But parents are not always right. They may have some bad habits such as smoking, drinking so much wine, etc. It's not good for their health and for their children. Because their children may do the same things as they have seen. If parents are too busy to look after their children, the children can feel lonely and intend to do bad things. Some children feel scared or bored instead of being closer with their parents. Because parents are so strict and they do not understand their children at all.
Anyway, parents play an important part in their children's spiritual life. So I think parents are the best teachers only when thay are good parents.
PARENTS ARE THE BEST TEACHERS

Education is very important to everyone in our modern life. The knowledge we gain and the behaviours we have depend almost on how we have been educated through years. Therefore, we can see that the teachers play great part in teaching students, which impacts on what being said above. However, we have to know who are ‘the teachers’. Most of us think that teachers are those who give us knowledge at schools, but actually we often consider teachers are those helps us know about things. By the reason, parents – who understand us best – can get effective ways to draw us to be aware of complicated situations in life. They are the best teachers. Below are my confirmation.
First, during childhood time, parents taught us how to walk, how to run, how to speak correctly and what to or not to do. These help everyone have bases to start ‘human life’. And as we can see, our parents led us to gain simply as well as quickly hard skills which accompany us along life time.
Second, they are the first to give us knowledge about all things that we have caught such as flowers, trees, bees, birds, big animals, and so on. And every time making a present to us, parents explain how to give and take affactionately, they also train us to behave better and better after every situation is caused. This helps develop our good characters and prevent us from being rude.
Next, parents direct us ways to have sastifaction. They can offer answers to any kind of our questions, even how extraodinary they are, such as: ‘why can not pig fly?’, ‘why is the sky blue?’, etc. To do that, sometimes, they may draw a fairy tale and try to make us believe. Parents teach us not to be pessimistic at any difficulties because there is nothing possible to stress on us if we always look on bright side. We should simplify everything we caught and the life will be more beautiful.
In addition, parents are the best teachers on teaching us how to deal with situations we could get in life. This is not in papers and we can only know it if we have one to solve. In such these situations, parents are regarded as psychologists to understand and advise us to choose the best way to get through. Greatly, they make us enable to come up with anything like that in case of having caught again.
On a whole, parents are not only ‘parent’ but also ‘teacher’ of their sons and daughters. As having been said, no one can understand us - the children- than our parents. They relate to us with their love and their ‘teacher’ role. Anyway, parents are recognized as the best in giving lessons of human life as well as educating characters on their children. ‘Parents are the best teachers’, I confirm.
